I would love to be able to put any two of my decks in a single box depending on the night, but I also don't want a standard-sized deck to get banged up from having too much space. I was hoping someone could give me some input on whether a 100+ deck box would be too big for a standard deck with sideboard (kmc inner plus dragon sleeve matte outers). I would just buy the 80+ Flip n Tray, but I'm also wanting to build a commander deck sometime soon and start subbing that in for my second deck when not playing draft. My main concern is that the Stronghold seems to only come in a 100+ size, while the Flip n Tray can do both 100+ and 80+. Based on the reviews that I've seen here and on youtube I'm between the Gamegenic Stronghold and the Ultra Pro Flip n Tray, with a slight preference towards the design of the Stronghold. Since I've been pretty happy with this self imposed rule of two, I've been wanting to replace my original cheap plastic boxes with one of double capacity deck boxes with the built in dice trays. One of those is my standard deck, and the other is either a draft kit with lands and sleeves or just whatever jank I feel like screwing around with (depending on the format for the night). I'm not a huge fan of lugging around a whole bunch of decks when I go out, so I always limit myself to bringing two decks when I go to play with my friends. I'm just starting to get back into the game and had a question about deck boxes that I couldn't find an answer to online. r/magicTCG is not produced, endorsed, supported by, or affiliated with Wizards of the Coast. ![]() Magic: The Gathering, including card images, symbols, and text, is © Wizards of the Coast, LLC, a subsidiary of Hasbro, Inc.
